Welcome! This website is dedicated to sharing knowledge about 16th (and a smidge of 15th) century European clothing. Being a full figured woman, I have dedicated myself to looking fabulous and showing others that they can look fabulous in late period clothing no matter what their size.

I've started a yahoo group dedicated to 16th century clothing and culture. While my focus is on Elizabethan England, the group is open to anyone wanting to study any country/culture. I have dedicated myself to gathering the accoutrements of an Elizabethan noblewoman and bringing them to events. I will have Elizabethan furniture, tableware, food, games, and whatever else a noblewoman might have had for an afternoon's entertainment. Please join me at events. I think it will be great fun!

As I gather research on this non-garb related stuff, I will post it here. This link should take you to the yahoo group page.

Check out the pictures of my apprentice, Jane, in her new 15th century clothing in the projects section.

I am the dean of the College of Fine Arts and Sciences for the Royal University of the Midrealm. I am on the eternal lookout for instructors to teach intermediate and advanced classes on any and every topic under the sun. If you are interested, please drop me a line. Thank you to all who attended and a special thanks to my instructors!

This page is a work in progress and will change constantly as I learn more about 16th century clothing and culture. Please feel free to send me feedback! I'm always looking for new research sources.
